Business accounts policies

Eligibility

All individuals - except patients or members of the general public - qualify for a business account.
The applicant should demonstrate recurring needs in one of our vertical markets and, in our opinion,  sales potential exists..

Privilege

An active business account allows access to a line of credit established on the basis of purchase frequency, volume and potential.

Approval of a business account

Private sector:

An open business account with a corporate discount is deemed active when the user makes regular purchases worth at least $2,000 yearly. This account is then subject to the applicable payment terms. If these conditions are not met, the account will be deemed open but inactive. The user is granted the corporate discount, but will be required to pay using a direct payment method when placing the order, before it is shipped.

The discount percentage is granted based on the purchase volume for the account.

A “professional” is defined as an actor whose work is closely related to the healthcare or sports field.

The same policy applies to both distributors and professionals.

Public sector:

Public-sector account users should always have a purchase order when placing an order. If a purchase order is not available, a credit card will be required.

The public sector comprises hospitals, universities, cegeps, colleges, agencies, schools and paragovernmental organizations.

Credit line

For users who have an active open account (refer to Eligibility and Approval of a business account, above) with the 30-day payment option, the credit limit is set based on frequency and potential annual purchase volume.

Withdrawal

The business account may be suspended or withdrawn if the user regularly defaults on payments or shares confidential information related to his/her account with other parties.
