BML heel lifts are developed to compensate for leg length deviations when used individually, or to elevate the heel when used in tandem. When used in one shoe at a time, the risers help restore pelvic balance and eliminate lumbosacral spine rotation caused by uneven leg length. When used in both shoes at the same time, they can provide balanced lift. BML heel lifts provide excellent shock absorption and can be stacked for a custom amount of lift. These heels are easily cut to size with sharp scissors.

To properly support the lifts should be placed in the shoe with the longest flat surface facing up. This is especially important on thicker lifts. This keeps the top surface of the heel against the foot along its entire length and the wedge shape allows the heel to bend and conform to the arch, or lack thereof.
