General objectives

  • Understand the main theories related to the physiopathogenesis of lower limb injuries.


Specific objectives

  • Learn the main and specific assessment tests for lower quadrant injuries.

  • Understand the main theories on tissue stress, adaptation principles, and preventive stress management.

  • Develop a program for resuming physical activity or returning to work following an injury, knowing the theoretical principles related to tissue adaptation.

  • Practice certain specific and clinically effective treatment techniques, such as motor control and muscle stabilization exercises, exercises for tendinopathies, orthotic fitting, and certain taping techniques.

  • Understand "Evidence-based" in the treatment of non-traumatic lower limb pathologies (complete review of all Cochrane Reviews and literature review on plantar orthoses, treatment of tendinopathies, strengthening and flexibility, etc.).
