The DARCO shoe is designed to provide the foot with solid protection and easily adapt to bulky bandages. It features a square toe design to provide extra protection to the toes. The sole has a metashank design which provides additional support to the metatarsal region when walking. The DARCO shoe has a hook-and-loop closure on the front that can accommodate up to a 43cm (17 ") circumference from large bandages and dressings. It also eliminates any extra pressure caused by ring closures. D more traditional ones that can irritate the forefoot area.
